Founded in 63 A. D. by the Apostle St. Thomas, the Church is now an International Pilgrim Centre. The Tiruvithamcode Arappally is the world's oldest church with its architectural beauty.

Parumala Seminary is the major pilgrim centre of the Church on the shores of river pamba, blessed by the shrine and mortal remains of St. Gregorios. The mortal remains of Metropolitan Yuyakim Mar Ivanios are also entombed here. Everyone irrespective of religion and caste arrives her to stay blessed by the Intercession of St. Gregorios.

THRIKKUNNATHU SEMINARY

It is currently the headquarters of the Angamaly Diocesan Metropolitan. This historic forma seminary is situated near Aluva. Four tombs of mortal remains of metropolitan including H. G. Dr. Philipose Mar Theophilos, former president of MGOCSM are entombed here.

Vallikkattu Dayara was founded by Pulikkottil Joseph Mar Dionysius II in 1868. Once this Dayara was the Head Quarters of the Catholicose of the East. The mortal remains of Catholicos Baselius Geevarghese i and Metropolitan Augen Mar Dionysius are entombed in the chapel.


MARKURIAKOSE DAYARA

The Dayara was started by Metropolitan Kuriakose Mar Gregorios (Pampady Thirumeni) whose mortal remains are interred in the chapel. The mortal remains of
the Metropolitan Mathews Mar Ivanios and Very Rev. Fr. P. C. Yohannan Ramban are also entombed here. The Dayara is a holy place for pilgrims and a centre of many educational and social institutions.

Cheppad Valiya Pally is a major pilgrim centre of Malankara Orthodox Church. The Church is also the resting place of Cheppad Philipose Mar Dionysius, Malankara Metropolitan. The 600 years old mural paintings drawn with the extracts of leaves and fruits on the walls of Madbaha of the Church exhibit christian faith and worship.


ST. GEORGE ORTHODOX KOONAN KURISU PALLY

The St. george Church of Mattanchery has played a significant role in the historic event that shaped the leadership of the Malankara Church, as it is today. The historic monument of Koonan Cross Oath (A. D. 1653) is now a pilgrim centre. A portion of the holy relics of St. George is kept in this Church.
